April’s That Was Gay column on SoundOnSight went up yesterday. It’s about The Birdcage. It’s a pretty good movie guys, seriously.

Ever feel like things aren’t going so well for you??

Here’s my sketch from RBWC’s March show.

I’m starting a new column in SoundOnSight called “That Was Gay”. I’ll be reviewing the past 40 or so years of Hollywood movies dealing with explicitly gay subject matter and featuring queer characters and seeing how well they hold up in 2014. My first post is on “Making Love” from 1982. It’s a romance! With some luxurious hairdos! Please give me suggestions for other movies to cover.

Here’s “Cat Funeral,” my first Maude sketch with Royal Bermuda Whiskey Club. I apologize to all the cat people out there.

Did you know that if you leave your TV on after True Detective and Girls you get to watch Looking? It’s a show about San Francisco and blowjobs and last night’s episode was rather sweet.

Here’s my review for SoundOnSight.

Two weeks, y’all. If you live west of Reno you best be at this show!!

jkottke:

On his site Truth in Olive Oil, Tom Mueller tells us how to buy great olive oil and, more usefully, which brands to buy at the supermarket.

Unlike many wines, which improve with age, extra virgin olive oil is perishable: like all natural fruit juices, its flavor and aroma begin to…

I guess I bought the wrong Costco olive oil.
